Description
Hone’s armored fiber optic cable, the GYXTW, incorporates 250μm fibers within a high-modulus loose tube filled with a waterproof compound. The loose tube is then wrapped with a double-sided plastic-coated steel tape (PSP). A water-blocking material is placed between the loose tube and the steel tape to ensure compactness and prevent water ingress. The cable is sheathed with two parallel steel wires for added tensile and crush resistance.
