Hone GYTC8A Figure 8 Self-Supporting Armored Fiber Optic Cable
The Hone GYTC8A Figure 8 self-supporting armored fiber optic cable is a robust and reliable solution for outdoor aerial installations. This cable combines optical fiber technology with a self-supporting design, eliminating the need for additional support structures. Its armored construction ensures durability and protection against environmental factors, making it ideal for various applications.
Description
Hone GYTC8A outdoor aerial self-supporting figure 8 fiber optic cable is structured with 250μm fibers in a loose tube made of high modulus plastic, which is filled with a water-resistant filling compound to protect the fibers. All loose tubes and fillers are stranded around a central strength member into a compact and circular cable core. An aluminum polyethylene laminate (APL) moisture barrier is applied after the cable core is finished, and it is filled with filling compound to protect the cable from water. This part of the cable is accompanied by stranded wires as the supporting part. Finally, the cable part and stranded wires are completed with a polyethylene (PE) sheath to form a figure 8 structure.
Applications
This cable is suitable for various applications, including:
- Core network
- Metropolitan area network
- Access network
- FTTH feeder and distribution
Features
- High tensile strength stranded wires meet the requirement of self-supporting.
- Reduced installation costs with self-supporting cable structure.
- Good performance of mechanical and temperature.
- Hydrolysis resistant high strength loose tube.
- Critical protection of fiber from special tube filling compound.
- CSM, tube filling compound, 100% cable filling, and APL ensure the cable is watertight.
